Full Restoration
​
*Remove sashes from the box frame.
*Remove all paint from the inside and outside of the sashes and box frame (including the mouldings on the sashes).
*Fill hole and splits then sand to 80 grit and prime.
*Replace loose and missing putty.
*Re-cord the box frame and weigh sashes to get correct weight.
*Fit sashes.
*Fit new draught proofed parting beads and staff beads
*Fit new ironmongery.
This is a full restoration when finished the sash window will be fully functioning , rot free and will enhance the look of your property.

Repairs
​
I am able to perform long lasting virtually invisible repairs,
I prefer to remove the rot / damage and replace with matching sections of wood and splice and glue them in,
sometimes the old ways are still the best, modern resin filler kits just hide the rot they don't solve the problem.
Draught proofing
By draught proofing a sash window it will reduce rattles, dust ingress, and exterior noise and draughts it will dramatically improve the thermal efficiency.
